Laj Bee, born Alieu A. Barrie on February 14, 1998, in Lofa County, Liberia, is an emerging Afrobeat artist known for his distinct sound, cultural influence, and storytelling ability. A proud Liberian creative, he relocated to Monrovia with his parents in search of greater opportunity and went on to spend his teenage and adult years within the capital—where his talent, voice, and musical identity began to take shape.

 

In 2023, Laj Bee reached a major milestone in his career when he signed a lucrative deal with Meritt Records, becoming the label’s third official signing since its expansion into Liberia in 2020.
